Travel agencies
Travel agency accounting software: bookings, commissions and supplier payables
Record a booking where the client pays the full trip price: your commission is income, and the rest is owed to the airline, tour operator or hotel until you pay it. Only the commission counts as revenue.
For independent travel agencies and tour sellers in the US and Canada, $399.99 once.
No card, no account. Windows 10 and 11. United States and Canada.

What it means
In practice
Commission as revenue
Travel Bookings splits the client's payment: your commission to Commission Income, the rest to Travel Suppliers Payable under that supplier. Your sales figures are your real earnings.
What you owe each supplier
The screen lists what is owed to every supplier. Pay from it, and AcboBooks will not let you pay a supplier more than you owe them.
Commissions paid to you later
When a cruise line or tour operator pays your commission after travel, invoice them as a customer and track it on the A/R aging until it arrives.

Commission income, not gross bookings.
Client money in, supplier money out, commission kept
A couple books a tour for a total price. You record the booking, the supplier's share sits in the payable, and you pay the operator before departure.
At year-end, your income is your commissions, not the gross value of every trip you sold, which is how your accountant will want it.

What it does not do
· No booking engine, GDS connection, or ARC or BSP settlement reports.
· Travel Bookings posts to your first bank account; if your state or province requires a separate trust account, move the funds with a transfer.
· Windows 10 and 11 for now (a Mac version is coming soon); no phone app.
· It imports your bank's statement file rather than connecting live to the bank.
Questions people ask
Before you download
Why record only the commission as income?
When you sell a supplier's trip as their agent, the supplier's share was never yours. Booking it as a payable keeps your revenue to your commission; confirm the treatment for your agency with your accountant.
Can I see what I owe each supplier?
Yes. Travel Bookings shows the balance owed to every supplier, with a Pay button that will not let you overpay.
Can I deal with suppliers in other currencies?
Yes. Set the supplier's currency, enter bills in it, and pay from a foreign or home bank account; exchange differences post automatically.
