What it means

In practice

Service plans

Monthly plans repeat with a memorised invoice. For quarterly plans, bill an even monthly amount, or run Batch Invoices for every customer on that quarter's round.

Materials at cost

Bait stations and traps you sell are inventory items. Products you use up can be stocked and expensed with Adjust Inventory after a count, or simply bought on bills to a supplies account.

Commercial accounts

A restaurant group or property manager wants one statement for several sites. Each site is a job under the customer, and the statement shows them all.

Recurring revenue, tracked like it matters

Classes for residential plans, commercial contracts and one-time work show how much of the year is already booked.

Termite and wildlife jobs with bigger tickets get an estimate, a deposit and their own job, just like a project.

What it does not do

· No pesticide use records, treatment logs or service routing.

· Recurring schedules are weekly or monthly; quarterly and annual renewals are billed from the memorised list or a batch.

· Windows 10 and 11 for now (a Mac version is coming soon); no phone app.

· It imports your bank's statement file rather than connecting live to the bank.

Questions people ask

Before you download

Can it bill quarterly service plans?

There is no quarterly schedule. Either bill the plan as an even monthly amount on a memorised invoice, or use Batch Invoices to bill everyone on a quarterly round at once.

Does it keep pesticide application records?

No. Keep the records your state or province requires in your service software or logbook; AcboBooks handles the money side.

Can technicians earn commission on sales?

Yes. Assign a sales rep to invoices and Sales by Rep works out commission at each rep's percentage. Pay it as a commission amount on the paycheque, taxed as wages.
