What it means
In practice
Instalments tracked
Bill the planning fee in stages from the estimate with progress invoicing, or take money up front as a customer deposit and apply it as you invoice.
Vendor costs on the right event
Venue, catering, rentals and AV bills carry the event as a job. If the client reimburses them, mark them billable and they come onto the client's invoice.
Profit per event
Job Profitability shows each event's fees and recharged costs against everything you paid out for it.

Planning fee and recharged costs on one invoice.
Know what an event made before the next one starts
One wedding can mean fifteen vendors and five client payments. Each lands on the event's job, so every event has its own bottom line.
Vendor bills carry due dates, and Pay Bills shows what is still owed to whom in the run-up to the day.

What it does not do
· No event timelines, guest lists, floor plans or contract management.
· Windows 10 and 11 for now (a Mac version is coming soon); no phone app.
· It imports your bank's statement file rather than connecting live to the bank.
Questions people ask
Before you download
How do I record a deposit for next year's event?
As a customer deposit. It stays a liability until you apply it to the event's invoice, so it doesn't count as this year's income.
The client pays the venue through me. How does that show?
Enter the venue bill as billable to the event. It comes onto the client's invoice as its own line, and Job Profitability shows it both as income and cost. How pass-through costs are taxed depends on your contracts; check with your accountant.
Where do my leads come from?
Add a lead source field to customers, and the Sales by Lead Source report shows which channel brings in the revenue.
