No card, no account. Windows 10 and 11. United States and Canada.

What it means
In practice
Invoices on a schedule
Each client's invoice is memorised once and scheduled weekly or monthly. When it is due, it is entered the next time the company file opens.
Hours and mileage on the paycheque
Hourly payroll pays regular hours and overtime. Mileage logged between client homes is added to the next paycheque as a reimbursement, not taxed as wages.
Supplies kept in view
Cleaning supplies bought on the card or from petty cash go to a supplies account, so the P&L shows supply cost against revenue every month.

Hours, overtime and mileage on one paycheque.
Know which contracts pay
Make each office building a job under the client and log crew hours to it with time tracking. Hours by job next to what the contract bills shows which sites run long.
Residential and commercial work as classes split the P&L, so you know which side to grow.

What it does not do
· No scheduling, online booking or route planning.
· Recurring schedules are weekly or monthly; every-two-weeks clients are entered from the memorised list when due.
· Windows 10 and 11 for now (a Mac version is coming soon); no phone app.
· It imports your bank's statement file rather than connecting live to the bank.
Questions people ask
Before you download
Can I bill clients every two weeks?
Not on an automatic schedule: schedules are weekly or monthly. Memorise the client's invoice and enter it from the memorised list on the weeks you clean, which takes a click.
Are my cleaners employees or contractors?
That is a legal question with IRS and CRA rules behind it; ask your accountant. AcboBooks handles both: payroll for employees, 1099-NEC or T4A slips for contractors.
Can I reimburse mileage?
Yes. Log trips by employee at your rate; the amount owed is added to the next paycheque as a reimbursement, which is not taxed as wages.
Can I charge some clients sales tax and not others?
Each item has its own tax setting and each invoice its own rate, so taxable and exempt work can sit side by side. Check which of your services are taxable where you work.
