Sales tax and GST/HST
Sales tax in AcboBooks runs on one list and a few screens: you set up rates under Lists → Sales Tax Rates (Lists → GST/HST Rates in the Canadian edition), mark which products and services are taxable, pick a rate on each invoice, then use the liability reports to see what you owe and record the payment. The first four lessons follow a US business that collects a state and a city tax. The last three use the Canadian edition: GST/HST on sales, input tax credits on purchases, and the GST/HST return worksheet with its CRA line numbers.
